Who can sign up for the site?
Anyone can sign up for Unimerce and depending on interest and professional capacity, choose your desired role at registration.
Are you a vendor looking to increase your branding and product exposure? A designer or other trade professional looking to discover unique new merchandise for your client? Maybe a collector/enthusiast looking for that hidden treasure? The site is both a platform and a community, it consolidates a highly-fragmented marketplace, allowing all players to expand their search, reach and distribution.
What do the different roles mean? Which one should I choose? Depending on your buying/selling needs, there are five (5) role types:
GENERAL PUBLIC (General User) - Improve your search, stay on top of trends and see the latest and greatest.
For: Open to all.
TRADE BUYER - Must be a licensed business.
For: Designers, Decorators and Architects. (non-retail pricing)
INDUSTRY BUYER - Must provide proof of business, including tax identification number.
For: Bulk Buyers and Stocking Distributors.
VENDOR - Vendors merchants present and sell products on Unimerce. Vendors can appear as an exhibitor in a sponsored show or independent of a show.
For: Artists, Art dealers, Antiques dealers and Collectibles dealers. For sellers of home furnishings and decor, home supplies and materials, fixtures, vintage, jewelry, fashion accessories, books and media and electronics.
SHOW PROMOTER - Through Unimerce sponsorship, create and build your own show and invite exhibitors to participate and create their own eBooth.
For: Show promoters experienced in show promotion, planning and operations.
What is an eBooth?
The eBooth is a virtual "booth" and showroom where vendors present and sell products.
